Memories Of A Bullied Gay Teen
A smile is the best
disguise for any unhappy person. Bullying comes in many guises, and for
almost four years at High School I endured every imaginable form of it,
from name calling and hurtful teasing to physical violence and
psychological torment. Why? Because I am gay, although back then, I
hadn't actually told anyone.
I contemplated taking my life on
several occasions. I have no idea how I survived those years but I did.
Life does get better in time and it's definitely worth living. No one
should ever feel so depressed that suicide looks like a viable option to
a life of torment.
